BUSINESS IN BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS WELCOMES YOU
A special interest group of California Association for Behavior Analysis (CalABA)
The Business in Behavior Analysis (BIBA) Special Interest Group is focused on promoting the highest standards of professional and business practice within ABA business organizations, working collaboratively to achieve professional goals that are unattainable individually.
WHO WE ARE
Here at BIBA, the focus includes public policy and legislation surrounding behavioral health treatment; collaboration with California funding sources, legal and ethical employment practices, organizational behavior change and other topics related to operating an ethical and high-quality ABA business.
SIMONE STEVENS, BCaBA
Simone Stevens is the Chief Operating Officer at the Lovaas Institute for Early Intervention based in Culver City, California where she has been employed for over two decades. Simone began her career in ABA as an undergraduate psychology major at UCLA. She first came across the work of Ivar Lovaas in her abnormal psychology textbook and signed up to take his introductory behavior modification class the next quarter. Like so many other students in his class, Simone was completely mesmerized by Dr. Lovaas. Beginning fieldwork directly with clients of his UCLA clinic was life-changing and Simone instantly found her passion.
Simone obtained her BCaBA in 2003 and after working in direct service and supervisory positions within the clinical department, she took on leadership roles within the administrative team. Simone is committed to developing policy and initiatives where staff expertise and clinical integrity are always prioritized.
